Château Gautoul 2015
Terroir & Grape Variety
The Château GAUTOUL vineyard is planted on different types of soils formed by the meanders of the Lot which are composed of ancient alluvium from the Massif Central (200,000 years) corresponding to the middle terrace of Riss (T2, 200,000 years) in Meaux, very ancient alluvium typical of the high terrace (T3 Mindel, 500,000 years) in Meaux and Vire and incidentally high levels of the ancient Quaternary (T6, > 1,000,000 years) in Puy-L'Evêque.

Tasting
Serving temperature: 17°
Alcohol content: 13.5°
Dress of red fruits, black pepper and melted wood.
A subtly roasted and vanilla nose. The attack on the palate is enveloping. Taste of crushed strawberries and blue fruits. Melted tannins, lovely freshness. The spices give length to this elegant and balanced wine. A wine to drink or keep in your cellar.
